Showers and thunderstorms are likely to
hit Bradenton on Friday afternoon and evening, once again threatening to hit
local high school football games with downpours, according to the National
Weather Services.
Forecasters said there is a 60 percent
chance of rain during the day and evening, with the best chance for showers
coming between 2 p.m. and 2 a.m. Saturday.
Whether the monsoon-like conditions
that struck last Friday's games will be repeated was not clear.
