Detailing the football accomplishments over the past four years of the Manatee High Class of 2014

As this year's Manatee graduating class departs, let's look back at what they accomplished:

During the past four years...
  • Only one loss to a public school - 2013's playoff game loss to Ft. Pierce (Prior to this game, the last loss to a public school was to Plant in 2009.)
  • Unbeaten in all games against Manatee County Schools.
  • Ranked #1 in the nation during a season for one of the longest periods of time in school history.
  • Defeated Florida powerhouses: Miami Central, Miramar, University School, Cypress Bay, Palm Beach Dwyer, Jacksonville First Coast and more.
  • Won one state championship (Sophomore year of this class).
  • Largest signing day class in school history in February of 2014 with 12 players signing.
  • Traveled for out of state games to Pennsylvania and Maryland (2).
  • Appeared on National TV (ESPN) two times.
Season by Season
2013 - 11-1 Lost to Ft. Pierce in playoffs (Senior year)
2012 - 13-1 Semi-Finals - Lost to St. Thomas (Junior year)
2011 - 13-2 State Champions - Losses to Good Counsel and Don Bosco (Sophomore year)
