Manatee's Marquise Dawsey posts two tackles in Ferris State's victory on Saturday
Dawsey had two solo tackles including one tackle for a loss in the victory over Walsh. Ferris State is now ranked in the top 25 of Division II. Link to article on top 25 ranking. Former Hurricane Antonio Aggurs also saw action on Saturday for Ferris State.

According to Coach Kinnan on his Tuesday radio show, true freshman Derrick Calloway's red-shirt is going to be pulled - he is going to suit up this week in USF's game against Miami.

Player profile: OL Dylan Beauchamp - Manatee's strongest player
Listed at 6'0, 288 pounds in the game program, senior Dylan Beauchamp holds the distinction as the strongest player on the entire team. Beauchamp weighs in with the team's biggest bench press - over 400 pounds - and was the only Hurricane to represent the team at last year's state weightlifting finals. Manatee vs Gilman players of the game: Trevon Walters - offense; Demarcus Christmas - defense
Link to Maxpreps.com story. Manatee also had three runners make the century club against Gilman: Walters with 144 yards; Johnnie Lang with 127 and Josh Meyer with 100. Kelvin McKnight posted the highest number of catches, 13 and 105 yards with 2 TDs. On defense, Joey Lauro and Greg Reaves each tied with 9 tackles... Christmas posted four tackles, three of them for a loss.
